What we found

“By and for the defense of the artist.” With this statement of principles, we were introduced to the project.

Artists working in the performing arts often face difficult circumstances — job insecurity, payment issues, and instability, among others. Artyco was born to provide legal support for artists, allowing them to invoice for each of their performances, contribute to social security for all their work, and stay fully compliant with legal requirements. The employers also benefit, as they can hire artists legally and avoid accounting or legal issues.

What we contributed

How can we represent the professional reality of an artist? How can we convey Artyco’s protective spirit? Sometimes, inspiration strikes during a conversation completely unrelated to the project. We were searching for a figure that could serve as a metaphor for the performing arts — an element that would give us a common thread and allow us to tell the story. Finally, in an unexpected conversation outside the agency, that figure appeared.

The Tightrope Walker

The image of the tightrope walker perfectly embodies the concept of instability, vulnerability in the face of danger, and the courage artists demonstrate in their profession. Who protects the tightrope walker from a fatal fall? The safety net — Artyco.

Artyco represents that protective net that ensures that if the artist falls, the consequences are not fatal. At the same time, it is a network of contacts that allows artists and employers to connect and collaborate within a legal framework.

For the creation of the brand, we worked with photographic images and applied a printing technique known as “halftone,” which breaks the image down into a dot pattern, allowing us to treat it as a vector. This resulted in a logo with a photographic look but with the flexibility to be used freely across formats.

We wanted to create a bold, fresh brand that reflected the spirit of the audience we were addressing. We chose an intense color palette and applied a subtle halftone effect to all the imagery used across the brand materials. We created a wide range of pieces — from stationery to wallpapers and pencils. Naturally, we also developed a website aligned with the brand’s visual identity. The result is a modern, easy-to-navigate site filled with visual references and nods to the work of other artists (we won’t tell you where they are — you’ll have to find them yourself 😉).
